Strategy:
No time to waste here, send your units straight into the fray. Enemy reinforcements will come from behind, but don't leave your units waiting for them unless you can afford to, let them come to you instead. The enemies are fairly easy but there are quite a lot, so build your tension and go crazy. When you begin approaching the canyon more Doms will come from the top and bottom, so you might want to send one unit ahead just to trigger them so that the rest of your team can be in a good position to fight them.

As for Kou and company, have them group up and fight together. Fight intelligently and don't rush in and you should be fine. Once one of the three starts doing criticals it's all downhill. After all enemies on that map are destroyed, Kou and the rest will move to the main map on the following turn. However, they won't be repaired, and this also causes more enemy reinforcements to appear, so be careful that it doesn't get them killed. You might want to just have them hide in a corner, but whatever the case, you really need to pick up the pace at this point to make sure you can destroy the HLV in time. Once you break into the entrenched enemy's formation it'll become easier and easier as you use chance steps to take more out, so gradually make your way towards the HLV and destroy it when there are no more enemies left or you've run out of time.
